New Paint Job, where and how much?

I have a 1998 maxima se, pearl white, would like to get a professional paint job for entire car, how much would it cost? does anyone have recommedations in NY?

you might get a better answer if you posted in regionals but from what i've heard, a good paint job is anything from $1200 going up..

depends where you go and if you want a color change or not, going rate around here at one of the better shops that does a lot of custom paint is about 1300 for a respray and like 2200-2500 for a color change with flake

I agree...post regionally for more responses. In lieu of that I would suggest you look around some race car owners. I'm into NHRA and I know from going to the track here that if you ask the racers who did their custom paint you more then likely get a refernce to a quality shop. I'm sure your race season hasn't started up in NY yet so hit the streets in your 'hood and the web for shops in your area.

My brother had his race car repainted. He did a color change to a factory color for the year of the car and it ran around $3,000. Its an excellent paint job. You should plan for $1,500 to $2,000 for a good shop to do the job right.
