My transmission is messed up, leaking oil n there seems to be a chip out of the actual housing. I think i've decided im going to bring it to a shop and let them do it right rather then try and do it myself. Can you put a 6 speed from a 02 maxima in a 97 5 speed SE? What kind of fitment issues would i run into? Im trying not to get real pissed about the transmission being messed up and hoping i can get a 6 speed n act stage 1 clutch

 

as far as I know, no you cannot, at least without some serious modifications. You can however, use a 2000/2001, which I've heard are quite a bit nicer (reliability wise)
