what should i use to polish my....

ipod? the back of it extremely is reflective, almost like chrome. its scratched up but they're very fine scratches. i doubt theres a clear coat so ive racked my brain trying to figure it out. tarn-x? i need a small amount - and how should i do it? mf towel?

I don't have an Ipod so this may be silly but aren't they made of plastic? If so then I don't know of any plastic polishes. If you happen to have some type of metal casing then I'd give some Mothers a shot using a good cotton towel.
