RDS radio station on Bose

Can the Bose radio in the Max display more than just the station id and music type for RDS stations? If so, is there a special button you need to press to see the additonal info? (ie song being played, etc).

I drove a Chevy Malibu w/ RDS and I could see the song title being played on one of the local stations but I don't see that in my Max...

Thanks

No special buttons to push. That info is brodcast by the station.

Is the song title displayed in the upper part of the display or in the lower part? I'm curious as to why I can't see that information on the Max...

the station has to provide RDS. the ones that do don't really do a good job anyway. they'll display the wrong song, chop it up to look like it's scrolling, or just show their staion name.

if you burn your CDs with titles on them, that can display.

if you have SAT that displays nicely with all info.

I know that sounds a little off topic... What do you need to do different to get the Burned Cd's with titles on them. I burn CD's all the time and never get it to say the title of the songs...Any help out there? I use EZ cd creator...

my Nero burner will show each song's title before i burn them. it looks up the CD automatically on the Net. if it can't find them, I can click on the file and type the name.

some of your CDs may have the titles, you have to hit the tune/setting ****. if the first option is not BASS, then you have a title on it. you can make your default setting for CDs to show track name, CD name, or track #. Not all. it's the last option under that ****, right after the SSV.

but i'm done with all that. Love my Sirius

Fred...here in Colorado Springs some of the radio stations display everything your talking about. If a song is playing, it displays the artist and song name, if there is a commercial on with Radio Shack for instance, it displays "Radio Shack". Even this last Christmas during their news on the station, it would say News followed by Merry Christmas. Like Nismo said...it all depends on how much data the station wants to put out, but the Maxima does display it all...

There's one popular station here in CO that doesn't even show any data. Another one would just advertise their morning show.
