im doing a 5spd conversion on a 96 max se. the tranny is out of a 99 I30, so it is gonna have LSD. I ordered the 96 max driveaxles for a limited slip tranny, but the driver's side doesnt match up to the wheel/brake hub. the diameter of the splines are smaller than the hole they go through in the hub. Has anyone ever done this type of conversion and was it neccessary to change the hub too?

 

Well ummm..... Are you sure the 99 I30 has lsd, I think it's suppose to I30t... Did you order the right axle or did they just give you the wrong one? Where did you order it? I have ordered it from autozone so really, I just tell them 97 nissan maxima LSD with ABS (if neccessary). The axle should fix if it is correct.........I have pictures if you want some....Ohh yeah no need to change any hubs...
