I am thinking about just dropping by a junkyard a ripping one off a 5th gen. I know a few here on the org have it but I have never seen a picture of it. Also does it change the sound of the car at all ... I don't really want it to. And the last question ... will it effect my future plans for a Budget B-Pipe.

From what I've heard you'll pretty much still sound stock, and a bit more growl when really getting on it. As for the B pipe plans I cant saw for sure, but the muffler would be welded onto axle back part of the exhaust and not onto the B pipe so that would be unaffected.

where around alpharetta do you know a junk yard with 5th gens in it?

 

I live on the border of Fulton and Forsyth county about 45 minutes north of the airport ... anyway ... my uncle lives like 5 min from Hartsfield-Jackson and he is a car-rebuilder-freak-old car-dude ... so he knows every junkyard in the book ... I don't know where any 5th gens are but I am sure since they are so common that I bound to run into one. I also want to run into a couple of 4th gens ... scape some parts like maybe 97-99 center console.

 

What would it sound like if you had a header back and just poped in a 2k muffler? Im wondering cause I got pulled over by some damn cop on his quota here in chicago and told me I have to get rid of the noise.
