With all the great help on this list fixing a few issues with the 96 Maxima...

... I went and traded it in on a 2004 Subaru VDC H6-3.0 for the wife.

5 posts, no responses.

Anyone want to buy a Haynes Manual for a fourth gen for 1/3d off?

How about a complete sunroof (one cable broken) for a 4th gen?

With all due respect,
Kevin

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=387499 < you got the correct response, and the information was in the stickies.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....24#post3787224 < you have a haynes, it should be in there..

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=190310 < a decent question, though you could have just called and gotten a quote over the phone.

Pretty much, if you post here requesting technical information that isn't available in the stickies, it is hit or miss. This board tends to like modding more than fixing, so unless it is a knock sensor or spark plugs, it is iffy at best. Sorry you got frustrated, I personally try to answer every tech question I can, but this is just like most boards out there.

Also, you are at 30 posts since 12-19-04, a whooping 0.04 posts per day. How can you expect A+ help, when you are never here to offer your own expertise? Contribute more and you might get more help.

Good luck with the Subaru once its older and off warranty (if you keep it that long)?

Maybe you can get on a Subaru board and trade the Haynes to a frustrated Subaru owner in search of a Maxima, lol!
