car would not start
car would not start
I just tried starting my car but it would not even try to start. It was like I was not even turning the key to the starting position. All of the lights came on when I tured the key. Headlights, battery light, seatbelt and all those other lights. THe car was not making any starting noise at all. I started to push it out of the way but when I moved it by pushing it it started.
Could this be the altinator(sp)?
I got no ses light

U can't push start a automatic, he was saying its a auto. I would look at the obvious things like battery wires connected 1st. Then I like to give the starter a test. I get someone to try to start it, while I beat on the starter with the tire wrench from the trunk. This almost always works on the Max to get the engine started. Its a common problem for cars with over 100K miles - alternator or starters go out.

Mine too, not my Max but i my '99 trooper. The dome lights, and headlights were fine but it didnt do anything when i turned the key. The shop said that it was the starter.

Are you ever going to fix that?
