Where is the best place to get a set of ignition coils and a MAF? Thanks for your help.

You can try www.jerryromenissan.com. Use promotional code "accessory" for a 25% discount. The promotion is until April 30.

i think he clarified that this code was only for accessories such as floor mats. you can use MAXIMA as a code for 12% off "mechanical" items.

The code "maxima" doesn't work anymore and the code "accessory" seems to work, even when I used it for the maf.

sorry for bring this post back up but i had a quick question.

When you search by part # on www.1stnissanparts.com/oe_parts_cat.html
it finds it but it has the name of VOLUME AIR FLOW. I was wondering if its the same thing because its a good price:

$74.58 plus shipping.

i dont think Dave B could beat that.

so is it the same???

Mass Air flow, Volume Air flow, Air Flow Meter- are all diff names for a MAF sensor. The new MAF 22680-2Y001 has a screen inside the MAF tube, where the older MAFs did not. I just did one on my 01 Max yesterday to fix some of my cold engine, throttle hesitation. There are no ways of telling the MAFs apart other than the screen inside the MAF.

I got mine from DaveB for $90.36 shipped. Getting ready to install it tonight. I hope this will fix the same issue, (cold starts and throttle hesitation).

I'm guessing that the MAF won't be to hard to replace, does anyone have a DIY guide just in case I need it.

Thanks
