I'm running Maxspeeds. It's great for it's price, but if I were to do it again, I might spend the extra money and get the H-Techs.

I have em...very happy with them. With Illumina struts, the ride is actually superior to stock SE springs/struts in all ways. Handling is improved. The drop is the most even drop out there from what I've seen. Low enough to get rid of the wheel gap, but mild enough that the car doesn't look slammed....Plus, quite inexpensive compared to other brands. Make sure you get good struts with the springs, whatever you get. Don't re-use your OEM struts....

look at my webpage if you want pics.

My whole philosophy when modding my cars has always been, to enhance the car the way it is stock. I love the maxima what it is straight from the factory. and anything i modify wont be to completely change it but more to enhance what Nissan already gave me. I set out to make the car how i feel it should have came stock. But not make it so off the wall that i would be scared to let anyone drive it but me. The car handles so nice now, yeah it's a tad stiffer but i'll take it. check it out...

My maxspeeds...

Love em.

installs not bad, just get the compressor from an autoparts store. if u wanna make it really easy get an extra set of top hats from a junkyard or soemthing so u can just drop out ur stock suspension with the new one and make it go faster

i've heard alot of good things about maxspeed's but i went with H-tech's for the sole purpose that i had tein's on my honda and the irde was awsome. Well the same with the MAX, the ride is super smooth and the car is dropped just enough to get the aggressive look, but i can still fly through speed bumps and over rough roads. H-tech's should come on the max from the factory

anyone know the spring rate of Maxspeed, Tein H are somewhere 184 If I am remember right, reason to ask is try to find the softest lowering spring,
McAlert, NYPD and those in the city, how was your ride, I am on tein H with Illumina set on 2, still not to happy about it while driving in the city.

City....as in Manhattan? I try not to drive around in Manhattan. The ride is a little harsh, but bearable. For some reason, it feels A LOT smoother then my brother in laws TL does.

Could anyone suggest a good source to buy MaxSpeed springs? I have tried the following:

-Ebay - none for the Maxima that I can find.
-speedstash.com - placed order, then told out of stock.
-streetstyler.com - placed order on 1/16, still hasn't shipped, won't respond to email inquiries.
-maxspeedperformance.com - emailed yesterday morning to check stock - no response in 24 hours, called multiple times - no answer.

I've googled and searched this site without success

Thanks in advance for any help.
