stock TC rims on my new max

I have a friend that has a TC and he got the upgraded 18s to put on there and they gave him the stock rims. he ordered this car and he had the rims put on at the dealer so they have never been driven on. what is the bolt pattern for the TC and the max? do you think that they will fit? I was going to replace the sciom emblem with a small nissan emblem if anyone says anything about that.

I dont think that they are the same pattern, but it sounds like you have access to the wheels so just take one of your wheels off and try it real quick.

I live with this friend of mine and were in cincinnati and the rims are at a storage unit in clevland. I guess I can see if he will let me take off the rims he has now and see if they will fit. it would be the same bolt pattern.

uh as long as the bolt pattern is smaller than 114.3 and its x5 lugs, it shouldnt be that bad to bring it to a rim shop and have them drill the holes out to a bigger size. also check your hub bore size (the hole in the middle).you might get better responses posting this in the rims and tires forum

Yeah, I don't think I would recommend that but what do I know. I highly doubt that it would be worth while to pay to have holes drilled, why not just buy new rims that actually fit?

Hey, on second thought if you really want to save some cash then get those wheels and drill out the holes yourself! I'm sure that with a steady hand and a little time you could bolt those babies up without a problem, just don't come back on the .org and ask us why your car bounces down the road with your new rims on it.

Make an adapter for the wheels. That can work but IMO just get something that fits.

I've heard of people increasing the diameter too, but there's a million rims that fit properly, and once you pay someone to drill 20 holes it isn't much of a bargain.
