trim and pin stripe...oh what to do

ok what should i do with my trim and pinstriping?

the pin striping is just being werid, bubbling up and doing some werid pitting thing in hter spots and the trim is in ok shape but wince its glues into place its expanding and contracting agisnt glue points and kinda distorting....

i would like to have some trim there to break it up some (gotta have some chrome to it) but i donno...

what do you guys think?

I personally like the no pinstripe/no trim look myself.

i just covered up the old stripe with a new one and took off that trim stuff its pretty easy to do just use a chisel and peel it off.

A chisel....are you ****ing kidding me? Talk about a good way to gouge the paint....might as well grind all your paint off with a grinder.

If you want to get either off, the best way is to use a heat gun. I did the fishing line thing originally....that sucked a$$. Heat gun work much better and has a better chance of getting all of the adhesive off.

A heat gun is one way to do it, and then use a mild solvent to get rid of the glue. Or if you know of anywhere near you that sells bodyshop supplies, you can get an eraser that goes in a drill that will turn the pinstripe into dust.
