exhaust question

what can i do to make my car sound more like a g35??i drive a 96 i30...

haha...funny but upon hearing 5th and 6th gens...i noticed that only those cars sound like that....so i thought there would be a mod for the exhaust...would a ypipe do it??maybe a b?high flow cat?headers??i love the "whirring"sound it creates...

A pseudo-dual exhaust should get you closer.

ok dont hit me to hard but wut if got the stock exhaust from a g35 and added headers and a y-pipe to the whole thing.....do u think that would do it....????

Headers/downpipe. The stock manifold and Y-pipe will never make it have that 'exotic' whine up the tach scale. An aftermarket Y-pipe-only won't allow that either.

seriously doubt it, you'd be better off smashing in your spare tire well and just sticking a stock G35 muffler on
