See section 6 - 14 of the Haynes manual. 1995 and later models are equipped with two upstream (one per cylinder bank) and one downstream oxygen sensor. The upstream oxygen sensor are located in the exhaust pipe between the exhaust manifold and the catalytic convertor. I believe this is the y-pipe. When I had my Budget y-pipe installed last June, the mechanic removed the oxygen sensor(s) from the OEM y-pipe and inserted them in the Budget Y-pipe. See pictures 12.6a and 12.6b in section 6-14 of the Haynes manual.

This manual is something you should have if you are going to attempt any mechanical work of any complexity on your own. The manual is fairly inexpensive.

I suspect someone may post pictures or something more definitive that has already appeared on the .org before.
