bumper light rewire with 1157 bulbs w/ pics

So I recently got a ticket for my white blinkers [**** cops] . The time had come for me to go back to amber. It was a hard choice because I absolutely loathe the color amber on any car. Did the blinker with the 1157 bulb and socket bought from autozone. For $10, not bad. Hopefully the ambers will grow on me. I just had to post pics because I like how nice my lights look.

So I'm left with these two inverted white led 194 bulbs and two blue 'xenon' 1156 bulbs. I'll probably figure out some place for the 194's to go to, but the 1156's i have no use for, so if you want them pm me. I'll put it in the fs section too i guess.

why is white a problem, unless its a local law, most states say you have to have either white or amber, i would fight it....
or put them back in....

EDIT: or do like me and use the white on the sides and get the sylvania's that look blue but turn amber

Which lights are those...that look blue but turn amber? Arent the bumper lights off until you actually put the turn signal on? If this is the case, then it shouldnt make a difference what color they look if theyre not always on...right?

so when they are off you don't get the orange hue coming from the clear corners, like the orange on mine.

Lookin good!
I recommend that you change your corner lights to orange/amber also. That way they all match. I did that with mine and it looks awesome. At first i didn't want to go orange. But i didn't want to find matching bluish white bulbs either. I just used some standard orange 1157's and 194's for the side marker. They all match perfectly. I don't know much about the 1157 silverstars, they seem too pricey for me to try.
For the 1156's you could put them in your reverse lights, unless you already have some in there.

Looks good.

i like the look of having white wrapped around the curve on top and yellow wrapped around on the bottom. Silverstars are too expensive to even look at. I don't think they're any better than ebay bulbs. The 1156's won't fit in the rear. I have a 99, so the reverse lights are 921 (same base as 194's). but I don't feel like doing anything light related. I'm done in that department, now to go to bigger things.
