Here are the most recent pictures of my car. My rims are in the mail and are arriving on Wednesday so I will have more pictures at the end of the week with the 19's on.

Thanks for the positive feedback. The exhaust, which is the SP2, sounds deep and relatively quiet. I might be imagining but it seems like its getting louder as im driving and breaking it in more. From outside the car I can actually perceieve an exhaust note at idle wheras I couldnt hear anything with the stock catback. But with my intake, at WOT above 3000 RPM or so I cant really hear the exhaust because the intake is so loud. Im going to get someone to drive the car so I can hear the exhaust from outside the car, which im sure sounds a lot different than what Im hearing inside.

The good news is no droning and my girlfriend is happy because its not too loud at all. I also didnt put the Y-pipe on yet so when that happens it will get a bit louder and still wont be obnoxious. The best part about it is the seat-of-the-pants acceleration gain! I know it was just a cat-back, but I really feel a difference in acceleration especially at the top of the rev-range. Stock exhaust around 5700 RPM I felt a HUGE loss of power and acceleration up to redline. Now it keeps on pulling strong up to like 6300.

BTW the car is not black, its a dark, metallic green color. Does anyone know what this color would be called on a 1996 maxima? I cant wait for the rims either I will post them in this thread on Wednesday or Thursday.

nice car bro, i just put my sp2 on yesterday and it sounds so nice. for my exhaust i have headers, y pipe, and still waiting on my test pipe. greddy is real nice for cat back because its designed to sound quiet inside the car. itl sound better as you break it in more. the only thing with mine is the b-pipe hangs a little lower than i would like it to be. how does urs look? ill post some pics on cardomain for anyone interested in what my setup looks like. or just email me at infuser72@netscape.net.

also, how did you clear those taillights? i know of one way, just wondering how you got it done.

thanks,

Swazey
