Im seriously considering tinting the amber/clear part of my 95 tail lights with the "nite shade" spray. I wanted red/clears but apparently it is a hassle to do, but not for 97's. I see the VISUAL differences in the 97 and 95 tail lights but i dont understand why we cant make our tail lights clear/reds as easily as 97's. I havent bothered to research the differences i just never fully understood why there was a huge difference. so thats my question WAHTS THE DIFFERENCE.

97s lenses are seprate pieces, 95s to 96 are all one piece lense

 

oh, you mean the piece thats not attacched to the trunk comes apart?

 

i dont know what you're talking about, but the orange lense inside the light of a 97-99 is seperate from the outer lense, whereas a 95-96 is just colored plastic to make the orange color- it is the outer lense. so you cant take it out. make more sense?

that's why the famous David L clears are so popular. they are cleared plastic with the bottom painted red to meet regs
