For those who have HPAutoworks first gen STS piece alone....

I have one of the HP's first STS that did not include the piece that goes by the shifter. Did anyone contact them to see if we can purchase the second piece? Maybe they would be willing to give us a GP or something since we paid more then what both pieces go for nowdays.

This was posted on 3/28 on the 6th gen forum, but was also listed for the 2002-2005 Max. Dave is very good at replying to e-mails. I would guess that they will be willing to give a good deal since the gen 2's were selling at $130 shipped by them.

Ok guys good news! We will be able to sell the 2nd part only for those of you with the other STS installed. It will most likely be about 3-4 weeks before we have them in stock, as we have to make a seperate batch to accomodate you folks. As for pricing, I have nothing finalized at this time, but I do promise that it will be very reasonable.

For those of you that would like the 2nd piece, please make sure and e-mail me at dave@activetuning.com and have me add you to my list of people. This will give me a better idea of the numbers we need, plus it will keep you in the loop of what's going on on our end.

If anybody has any questions, ask away.

The second piece centers the shifter in the console so its not pushed forward.

The second piece goes under the shift boot and attaches to the shifter. Yes, it does move the shifter back. What it did to mine is that for gears 1,3 and 5, it places the shifter back towards the center. I have the 2nd gen. Ed.
