How many SE's don't have a moonroof?
How many SE's don't have a moonroof?
I saw an SE, probably 2000 or so with no moonroof. I figure nearly ever SE has a moonroof, and I think it was standard on the GLE, so the only car without would be a GXE. But a GXE could have the spoiler and wheels of an SE......what do you fellas think? how many SE's don't have the roof?
what about the white gauges ?
according to edmunds, it is an option for power moonroof.

i meant to say that if the car he saw had white gauges, it is most likely an SE unless the owner had swapped it in .. wihch is doubtful unless the car had other mods on it
My car is a 95 SE MT with black leather but no other options. It does not have moonroof, power seats, any of the C&C package, ABS, or BOSE. It is pretty stripped. I was pretty pissed about it at first especially since I bought it from autotrader and it said moonroof and ABS but after a 10 hour drive I get there and nothing. They took off like $100 since I complained about the moonroof but oh well. I don't mind too much now. I think my car is one of the lightest maximas ever stock so that is always a good thing.

My '91 had a moonroof, no leaks either.
Fully loaded here...

Father's is a little toned down... he didn't want a sunroof (he never uses it) but it was the only one available in his color and matching his other requirements at the time, so he took it with the sunroof...

2002 SE, as bare as they come...
NO Moonroof
NO Leather
NO Auto Climate Control
NO Bose (although this is a good thing)
The lack of leather is not a big deal...I can get some nice two-tone for a little over $1000 with installation.
But has anybody had a moonroof installed aftermarket?

Interesting results. I know it sounds weird, but I think no moonroof is cool because it seems different!! That would be funny if people in Cali. read my opinion and start retrofitting moonroofed cars to have no roof, and it became the biggest craze since clear corners!

I have a moonroof, but no abs, no bose, no leather, no heated seats, no climate control, no heated seats. I'm glad I don't have bose, easier for me to upgrade my system. But my car has wheels that I've only seen on maybe 5 other local maximas.

Loaded 5-speed with moonroof. The first thing I do when I get in the car is to pull the slider back regardless of the weather and time of day. I always push it back in when I leave the car because it can leave marks on the headliner if it just stays open.

My 93 SE didn't come with a OEM moonroof, so 6 yrs ago I had a aftermarket pwr moonroof install and I've been smiling ever since. The best bang for the buck mod I ever installed. Ever time I press that button and let the sun shine in, I'm all smiles. I was worried about installing a aftermarket roof, but after finding a quality installer I decided to go for it. My roof is a tab bit bigger than OEM and I've yet to have any problems, mechanical or electrical.
The only issue I have my after-market moonroof is that it has no mechanical crank that I can use to close the roof incase I loose electrical power.
So after driving my Max with and without a moonroof, I'll take the moonroof all the way.

Damn, how do you guys do it w/o a moonroof? (at least those of you who had a choice)
I open it up every opportunity I get. Even if it's a little cold outside (which is quite often in Chicago), i'll open it up and turn on the heat. If i lived in FL or CA, i would prob never close it.

2002 SE - no roof here
