I also was thinking about going this route...However, I've noticed that there are two different brands for the 5'th generation muffler...Ansa and Bosal. Which are you going to use? Are there any advantages with one over the other??

Yeah, it definitely doesn't fit all that well… I'm not really in the mood to cut away any of my bumper and I'm starting to re-think the 5'th generation muffler idea. Probably, I will try a Dynomax Super Turbo with a round stainless tip…

i have a 2k2 muffler on my 97 and i dont have that tip its just 2 pipes...i think it looks a little better

 

Any pics of the 2k2 on your car? I prefer the way the 2k2 muffler looks as well.

 

well i just moved but im gonna try and find my digital camera tonight....god only knows which box its in

 

lol the muffler was only $35 so I couldn't pass it up Doesn't look that bad
