jerkiness could it be a dirty throttle body
ive noticed that my idle in the car was kind of rough. ive noticed that my first gear is jerky at launch not smooth at all. and in between switching gears i hear like a clicking sound. could it be that my throttle body is dirty? someone anyone have any ideas? thanks
my first gear is a bit jerky too, launches are smooth but if youre not REALY smooth on the gas, youll jerk like mad. no click in between gears though, that might not be normal. im pretty sure a bit of jerking in first gear is okay though, its such a low gear right

that seems to be common on 5 speed Max's if your not smooth with the gas you'll get that bucking.
so u think maybe im driving it wrong? i mean ive been driving stick for 4 years. first car was an 85 bmw next was a 93 sentra se-r now this. the clutches on all are different do u think that could be my problem?
jerkiness is usually normal. Spend some time playing around in a parking lot. If your idle is rough, make sure it is set high enough (700-800rpm), check spark plugs, fuel filter, etc. etc. etc.

not driving it wrong thats just what all us 5speed max drivers face, letting off and gettin back on the trottle in first usually causes some bucking or shakyness, just a natural a part of our 5 speed lives.
Its sad cause I watch my friend in his Z (TT) or othe friend witha Camaro drive in first comepletely let of get back on and its smooth as butter.
