New track results. 106 mph traps
Got out to the track one last time before I change my set up. This time I removed my test pipe and ran just the open 3" down pipe. I must say the car feels sooo much better like that. I got 1 psi more boost with the open down pipe and the boost seems to come on much harder as well. Was seeing .44-.45 bar on the highway driving out to the track, but only got .41-.42 bar at the track. This is compared to .35 bar with the 2.5" cat back connected.
Remeber my hesistation/bogging issues in 3rd and 4th? Well, I found that if I stay in the throttle between shifts it either does not happen at all or just very slightly. I think this is what helped increase my traps the most. But I am not used to shifting like that and it takes a little getting used to, so I never got a run where I had no bogging/hesitation at all, but it was much less than before.
Anyway, here are some of my runs. The car is capable of a 13.4 or less but I just could not get a complete run together. I either spun real bad off the line and had a crappy 60' or I did not shift right and got the hesistation/bogging in 3rd and/or 4th
60 2.47
330 6.181
1/8 9.199
1/8 82.92 mph
1/4 13.922
1/4 106.16 mph
60 2.13
330 5.908
1/8 8.963
1/8 81.75 mph
1/4 13.799
1/4 103.29
60 2.099
330 5.769
1/8 8.810
1/8 82.22 mph
1/4 13.712
1/4 103.11
60 2.119
330 5.861
1/8 8.875
1/8 82.60
1/4 13.668
1/4 104.45
I had a bunch of other runs at 104 and 105 mph
I was determined to stay till I got a perfect run in and see at least a 13.5 but they busted me for not having a helmet and I had to stop running.
MEVI, JWT ECU, Z32 MAF, 550cc injectors, and 10psi are in the next couple weeks. Along with a set of 245/50/15 tires.

CM- Thanks, I was at Byron Dragway. I don't know about low 13's but she has got a 13.4 in her I know that.
Tilly-
Kevlo- I sure hope so. My goal with this car was 350 whp & wtq and a mid 12 sec pass.

Mike, those times are very impressive!! I managed to make it to the track this weekend also (Osceola) and couldnt trap faster than 100.68 mph. You tuned with an SAFC, right?

Yes, tuned with an SAFC and FMU. My AF line is not real pretty (bumpy) but it is right around 11:1 from 3K-redline with a 10:1 portion right at peak boost.

My brother, SuperDave, is comming up for my graduation in 3 weeks and bring me the 550's. We will install everything that weekend. I may even try to get to a dyno while he is here too.

Good job though.
Good job though.
Those runs are not in any chronological order. Bad 60' times are due to trying to drop the clutch passed 4K. I don't heat up the DR's so anything above 3.5K or so they just spin.

Thanks Guys!
vqmax- NGK coppers at .038 gap
Broaner- Yhea, it was this past saturday the 30th
subs- Traction is manageable at the track with the drag radials. On the street traction is pretty bad with my 215/60/15 Bridgestone RE950's. 1st gear spins really bad, second gear spins alot but is manageable. 3rd is fine. I am ordering a set of 245/50/15 Dunlop SP 8000 as soon as I hear back from TireRack. Not my first choice in tires, but it is almost impossibel to find wide, sticky, Z rated 15" street tires. But even with the new tires I know I will still have traction issues when I up the boost
