Question about my exhaust
I just got a Magnaflow #14289 muffler installed on my car on wednesday. I sounds really nice, but it is not loud at all and sounds kind of "airy" when revved. I want to install a Budget b-pipe w/ resonator to bump up the sound a lil bit.... my questions are
-- Since my magnaflow is welded to my stock bpipe and the inlet on the muffler is a 2.25 inch, would it be ok to have the budget 2.5 inch bpipe and when i get to the axle-back part of my car, have the piping back to 2.25 inch (because of the inlet size)??
--What are the pros and cons of having a bigger sized piping for a bpipe and the downgrading the size when i get to the muffler? Would it change the sound of it?
