it's easy, just take your time and you'll be fine - only thing that was hard was connecting the shifter assembly to the linkage because the head of that bolt is about 1/8th the size of a normal bolt, other than that this shouldnt take more than an hour.

The only problem I have heard with the B&m install is if you don't have a good set of snap ring pliers.

my friend just put in a shifter and unless the B & M model is different than most other shifters, it should go fine. it's pretty straightforward. but i was wondering how the stock boot fits back on the shortened shifter. is it really scrunched like there is too much material, or how does one typically go about do this? my friend had, i think the stillen one which reduces throw but not **** height or something.
but back to your question, it is pretty easy. i've heard people have a hard time with the throw at first because they didn't use the grease or something so keep that in mind.

I was able to install one without snap ring pliers. I just slid the snap ring down over the shifter and popped it into place.

Yes, in 1-2 weeks depending on how much you drive it will loosen like butter

omg, the custommaxima.com is notchy as hell, its a POS shifter. i had it for 6 months now and its still notchy as the first day i installed it, and plus it hits the shifter trim in 1, 3, and 5th gear, i actually broke the shifter trim once while racing and shifting into 3rd.
