i did the front seat swap...those plugs that connect to each other are really tuff to push together...make sure they SNAP into place...and make sure you have the right plugs in the right holes ... should work

should..... still no dice. I can move them all manualy (with a battery), so I know its not the motors, maybe the damned relay box thing next to the seat

Checked all fuses, rechecked connections

if I put power to the seat relay using a jump box, it all functions. Is there a connection/something Im missing?

Did you check for power at the plug with a meter?

It worked for me '99 seats into '98. I agree meter it out ck for power, ground is good. Heated portion I believe is separate plug which I don't have, but my Max is going to stay out of the cold this winter I hope.

The power wire on the low power side of that relay? My geuss is it runs through a key-on fuse that wasn't installed from the factory.

There's a circuit breaker for the factory power seats that indeed isn't installed in cars that weren't equipped with power seats.

Actually, this just came up the other day - http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...her-seats.html
