wasnt there an EGR sticky??

correct me if im wrong, but wasnt there a sticky on how to clean out the egr? dont see one there now..

Maybe I'm missing it, but the how-to doesn't really tell you anything. I've got a CEL and I had it checked, it was EGR flow malfunction. Which part would I need to clean to clear it up?

take off your throttle body and look in there with a flashlight....you will see a pipe going down...spray some stuff in there and get a wire brush to clean it out

Egr code (0302)., Alot of people in here (including myself) replaced EGR solenoid valve and this code went away..check this:

Try cleaning it and let me know how it goes...I have the same f-in problem and I think its making my MPG go down like crazy

-ec.pdf page 256 and page 360 as well as couple of other pages.
You will find procedure how to pin point the cause of your EGR problem.

I cleaned EGR system by removing IACV and cleaning EGR pipe entrance to intake manifold. From there sprayed a lot of tb cleaner into EGR pipe.
