what to do with "maxima" lettering

i was cleaning out my car the other day and found "maxima" lettering in the glove box that i think i purchased from custom max a while back and never used and figured i would.

i have looked around at some other peoples and this is the best looking i think thanx i30

long story short i am in MA and legally have to have the front licenses plate. hopping to get some ideas from you guys.

Some have put it on their front grile (95-96). I suggest putting it up on your garage wall. I like the debadged, no frills, stealth look.

I'm with Chief Brody on putting it on the garage wall. I like the hamburger and am not wild on the lettering, but would be inclined to leave it on. I think the completely debadged trunk looks ridiculous.

hmm...another idea maybe, if its the same kind of lettering in that picture, you can put it across the front hood at the edge you know....I dunno, It'll be different. or as Chief suggested...since you have a 96, it would look nice on the grill. get rid of the nissan emblem.

Hahaha thank for the ideas guys... chain it is LOL

tedo007 I remember the reason I got it was to put it on the passenger side airbag but (never mind the safety reasons sook mentioned) it looked out of place… did not look normal (hard to explain)

i think i am going to try and replace the hamburger with it on the front grill. that will look real nice. thanx for the idea monty95

Have them painted by a body shop w/a good color that goes w/yours, then swap em out w/the existing ones you have right now. Not the greatest pic but something like this!! I've yet to see another 4th gen w/a similar mod to the lettering & burger.

when mine went, it split right down the middle, vertically. right through where his hamburger is. you can risk it if you want, but its not worth it for me *shrug*

its plastic for christ sake.. whats it gonna do? leave a nice temporary red nissan tatoo maybe.. but if you use loctite that thing isn't going anywhere unless the whole outter airbag part rips into many pieces.. which it isn't designed to do
