I bought a bosal muffler from autozone for my car and it lines up but their is a lip underneath that doesnt seem to line up properly it seems to have a big gap and stuff is just puring out onto the ground. anyone know what to do? When i bought the car i had a flow master exhaust on it..

 

Buy a 5th gen, it will fit, and supposedly it has a better flow design.

The 5th gen muffler had a variable flow exhaust. There are two exhaust tubes. If needed with higher acceleration, the second tube would open.

Cause, better air flow. Is it more quiet? Probably a little louder, but it's a stock muffler so it's pretty quiet.

 

just out of curiosity, did the flowmaster have a nice sound?
