I was coming home today on the highway going about 70 when this white 97+ Max with a dual muffler setup, Stillen kit, riceboy taillight covers, and a windshield brow. He goes by me and gets on it a little. I speed up to 80 to signal him to pull over because I wanted to know what he had done. I start getting closer to him going 80 and then he drops the hammer and takes off. He doesn't slow down for traffic and is going well over 100mph weaving thru traffic and cutting people off. I just shook my head and slowed down from 80 and started cruising again at 70. Coming over a big hill I could see him a 1/2 mile ahead doing the same crap. This isn't the first time this kid has done something like this. ANother night he pulled up next to me and takes off weaving thru traffic on the street. As far as I'm concerned this kid a complete Riceboy. It's a shame some badapples ruin it for everyone.

I am just getting sick of you people calling people rice. RICE THIS RICE THAT, I mean, what's up with stereotyping? Basically, you are and some other modders are not differnet from a rice. Of course I have the right to say this because I use stock rims and body kits.

BTW, the rice was used by Muscle cars owner when they first saw Civic at the drag race. They are called rice because they were Asian. The term rice boy was used initilaly in the drag race.

THerefore, if you do drag race, you are no different any rice who mod their car.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the term "rice" first coined by motorcycle riders when the bikes from Honda and such came out. Since they were Asian companies, I believe that the American riders coined them as "rice rockets." Of course, if I'm not correct, I'm sure you will tell me about it.

The term was "rice burner". Japanese bikes were thought of as "cute", until Honda came out with the 750. It changed the motorcycle world. Then Kawasaki came out with the 500 2 stroke triple, then the 750 triple and then the Z1. They made the Harleys and British bikes look like rolling museum pieces. "Rice Burner", was all they had left. Oh yea, they also had t-shirts with, "I'd rather see my sister in a ***** house, than on the back of a Honda". (I worked in a Harley/Yamaha shop in the 70's.)

Everyone-

I'm in Kansas City. I can only hope I see this kid at the track, but it's pretty doubtful since most guys that think they've got fast cars stick to racing on the street.

I'm sorry if my use of Riceboy offends people. I don't hesitate to call a domestic car "rice" or an informed driver a "riceboy". To me, Rice and Riceboy means pretty much one thing, automotive ignorance.

Dude - Talk about hypocritical. You're the one who had a couple of posts on the 5th Gen. board locked by Y2KevSE for throwing around stereotypical and race-related trash.

Yeah, brings back fond memories; I had a '70 Honda 750 and a friend had the Kawasaki 750 triple. That triple was bad a$$! It was definitely the big gorilla of it's day.

I've seen this idiot around town a few times, he tried to race me in my 93 SE once while I had people in my car. I may run a few stoplight races, but I don't do it with other people in my car (I'm not going to volunteer other people for a possible life-ending experience), so I just ignored him.

Yep, I just ignore him. I'm sure he brags that he beats me all the time. If he only knew what kind of can of whoopa$$ I could open on him

BTW, no racing with people in the car or other cars on the street.
