Okay, so my lumbar support is starting to creak and it's driving me crazy, everytime I step on the gas and my back presses up against it, it creaks. I have come to find that it seems to be coming from the adjuster area itself. I was thinking of unscrewing the lever and spraying some wd40 in there to quiet it down. But I am afraid that if some wd40 gets somhow gets into the seat padding it will rot it out. any thoughts- please help- its driving me nuts

 

instead of WD40, try some grease....

 

i dont think it would mess it up but use like lithium grease or some other lubercant. wd 40 will just wear off.
