Maybe this will help with Am/fm signal loss on aftermarket radios?

While i was installing my new radio in my 01 I30 i noticed on the antenna wire there is a small green wire inbetween the two bigger wires. As you know the antenna is in the back window and i was wondering if it has an factory booster. while i was removing my old bose sub i had the rear pillars off and i saw something close to the window and i cant quite remember what it sad but i have a feeling that i has something to do with the antenna wire. anyways has anyone tried to put supply power to this wire? maybe if you hooked this wire into the power antenna lead or the remote turnon lead off of the head unit we can get our am/fm back. Something to look in to. if any thing i can hook my factory stero back up and connect a voltage meter up to it and see what happens.

Yes, you need to wire your power antenna wire from your hu to that wire.
