gas light stays on....

gas light stays on....

this is prob a simple fix, i hope, but my gas light is on. and im not on empty. i just filled up, then the next day i replaced the bulb with a led bulb and poof its been on ever since. so whats the deal?

Now let me see. The original bulb worked fine. You replaced it with a new led bulb and now have a problem. This isn't rocket science. I trust you saved the original bulb. Put it back in and see what happens. If it works properly, toss the led bulb in the garbage or take it back if you can.

If the original bulb doesn't work properly, then you have a problem.

Like I said, now you have a problem. I wonder if you shorted something out. How to resolve this problem is beyond me. Good luck!

I thought I was the most **** .orger, but to replace the original fuel warning light with a led bulb takes the prize that I awarded a week or two ago. Congratulations!

^ that i doubt, when you changed bulbs you prob messed some wiring up.. check your fuses/wires/whatnot

What size bulb did u use to replace? I might want to change the bulb in the future also.

Check your computer for codes. The CEL might have something in there that might not trigger the CEL light.
