http://www.hidtech.com/ is where you can purchase the yellow capsule. Use my guide in my signature to fit them into your fog lights.

I actually bought some H3 hyper yellow fog lights by Nokya. They retail for around $75-80 but look for them on ebay...i found them on there and paid around $35-40 i believe. I love them...they are really bright.

They were 29.99 at my local ricer shop.

Burned out in less than 3 months though, so I went back to stock.

i put PIAA ion yellow h3 in my fogs and i love them. there is only a slight yellow hue to my light output, except when its wet, there is more yellow. but they light up the road really well. and they are an incandecsant color and my friend says they look like projectors from the side on a distance because they have orange and blue stray light. the only thing i hate is, the maxima fog beam pattern is so wide

I spoke to Steve at Southwest Autoworks when ordering some Nokya bulbs for my max. I was originally going to get all Nokyas (headlights and fogs) but he advised against Nokya for the foglights since he said they could burn out in as little as 2 weeks but he had heard nothing bad about the life of their headlight bulbs. Now I have PIAA Xtreme White for fogs and Nokyas for my headlights and the contrast between them is great. The PIAAs are much more yellow, but I think I may try their Ion line next time for even more yellow output. If you want to see pics of the contrast you can checkout my cardomain though, here's the link to my lighting page http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/837045/5

Bbmax16, your headlights look excellent, nice and bright...but your fogs...im looking for the real deep yellow light output. Meanbean has the right idea...but I dont have $300 bucks to do the hid kit and then the yellow capsules. Any ideas?

Narva Candlepower Golds > PIAA Ion Crystal Yellows

Meaning, they are yellower... I have the PIAA Yellows myself, and am looking to get em replaced with the Narvas...

Btw, Maxxdeout624, you can do the capsules w/o HIDs... it'll still be really yellow, but much cheaper. Here's a write-up for a 5th Gen that should help ya, might be slightly different, but I'm sure you can figure it out. He's just using OEM bulbs with the yellow capsules.

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/442543/15

Here's a picture of his set-up:

Another option guys, if ya don't wanna deal with opening the fog light housing to install the capsules, would be to get Lamin-X and just throw a couple layers over your fogs depending on how yellow ya want em. Since mine are cracked, I might be giving that a shot sometime as well.

You can get it here: http://www.lamin-x.com/

MaxxedOut624: Like what Puppetmaster stated, the HID bulbs are not required to perform the this mod. The HID bulbs only give a better yellow color ouput. You will still get a very deep yellow color by using just the halogen bulbs. So this mod will only cost you $37 for the yellow capsules if you aready have all of the necessary supplies and tools.

I would assume that it would last just as long as any other product made of glass. The yellow capsules don't seem to fade so it's a good investment for those who want true yellow color fog lights.

Don't sell yourself short. Everyone has to start somewhere so just take it slow the first go round. You'll be suprised as to how many things you thought were impossible become second nature.
