Car Revs jump after cleaning throttle..

Car Revs jump after cleaning throttle..
Ever since I've cleaned out my MAF/Throttle body--- any time I press down on the accelerator hard enough, the revs jump up and the car kind of hesitates, kind of like slipping of some sort... only since I've cleaned it out... though I notice more pep when I press on the accelerator.. any possibilities?
