Need a Bose Harness Pronto
Need a Bose Harness Pronto
When I rebuilt my car (salvage) I broke the right front door Bose harness from the door to the radio.
I ghetto rigged it. 2 years later its starting to come loose. cant splice the cables because theyre a coaxial cable (like cable TV) with one wire inside the other.
Does anyone happen to have one some bose wiring laying around?
I need the wire and harnesses from the radio to the right front door.
The local dealership didnt know what I was talking about until he ran it on the computer. He said to just splice the wires together. Good ole rednecks. Anyway I'm not spending $116 for a low budget TV wire. I'll disconnect that speaker if anything

it's a factory coaxial-type cable. That's how it comes. They're not 2 separate wires like regular speakers.
And the junkyards wont let me buy just the cable.. They want to keep it with the door.
I'll re-ghetto rig it somehow. Just wanted to make an attempt to do it the right way
Thanks for your replies

There's one wire sheath going to each of the door speakers. Inside this sheath are two shielded wires (positive to the tweeter and woofer) and one unshielded wire (negative to both). Once it gets to the door amp, it becomes normal wiring.
And there's not much room there to splice anything in the door jamb. I just re-taped it and it works for now.
