It's simple, my cousin wanted to go at it so we got onto a nice long road and ripped it from a standing start. I actually gave it a little too much throttle and spun the tires a bit but it was on. I quickly left my cousin by 3 car lengths. I thought the Taurus would put up more of a fight than that.

The Taurus doesn't seem too fast...I've driven some recently...

They seem heavier and bigger than the Maxima and they seem to have less power...hence your win!

I was definitely a race I looked forward to. People who own these cars always seem to drive fast.

My brother has a 24v '99 Taurus... I know about this one firsthand. Those things can't touch a Maxima. There's simply too much car for the engine.
