garage opener programing
its also in the manual.
but that didnt help me any. mines got the rotating code thing and theres no "train" button on my control panel. just a button on the unit itself that will wipe all the codes if held down for longer than 10 seconds.

It's in the manual..
But IIRC, you press and hold buttons 1 and 3 until it starts flashing to clear the programs. Then press and hold a button until it flashes, then press and hold your garage opener remote button until the light does something else (maybe it goes solid). And now you're done.

If you have a rotating code garage door... you have to program your actual OPENER (that is, the part in your garage) to accept the code that you programmed into your Homelink.
YOu should find out how to do this from your garage door manufacturer. . or their manual.
The homelink cannot rotate codes. It can only send 3.
