Sorry to kinda hijack this thread... Matt what do you think about the falken ziex 512.I dont plan on racing in anyway and also plan on buying a new set of wheels for next year so looking for something pretty cheap but a decent tire.

the 512 are great for all-around use. work great as good performance tires and all-seasons. not the fastest things out there, but they do just about everything decently well. to get any better dry tradction, you're going to have to go with a tire that loses something somewhere else.

ish, what Falkens? If they're the ST-115, STAY AWAY! Almost any of the others are decent.

In the Tire forum, a lot of people say that the 512's dont last that long. Maybe 20k-30k miles. Other than treadlife, they are good performers.

I have a set of the Falken ziex 512's on one of my cars and I love them.

Offset? If it's too much, it might rub.

I run 30mm offset 18x8. at 10mm more, that's about 0.40" that it will stick "in" toward the strut. I'll "guess" that it "should" fit. It will be close though
