How to carefully remove corner lights?

Hey...
Im getting clear corner lights in a few days and I wanted to be ready when Im going to put them on....
Ive been looking at the current lights and the problem is that I dont know how to carefully remove the old lights without scratching the bumpers...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks...

P.S. Ive tried posting in the General forum, but never got a clear answer (regarding the back, at least)....

if you dont have ur car manual, use a flat head screw driver with the head wrap around a cloth, wedge the flathead into the outside lining

the front lights were in so tight for me that i had to loosen the lower splash guard on right and left side of the bumper, then push the existing lights our with my hand. but this should have been in the stickies for you to read up on.........

From the inside, or just remove the bumper covers... which are only a few screws.

Mine came off pretty easy with a flat screw driver. But like everyone has said look in your manual
