How to/ Instructions section...

Did you gues notice that 95% of all the HOW TO's and Instructions page is NOT working?? All the links are inactive and give a "Can't display page" error. Is there anyway we can get these how to's working again? Maybe create a page just for how to's? I'd be willing to create a domain and everything if everyone feeds me information. I have web room on comcast.net, let me know if this is at all possible. I"m eager to get this working so we have all the resources 100% working.

Let me know what you think.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with this.

Maybe we could nstart utilizing instructions to be stored on the .org server if they are posted in a thread?

i have some disk space I can use from my work. If I could get the articles I could host them. I would be willing to even create a website for the articles. If someone would help me organize them I could get this done.

Sixx, look at Irish's site for the Lexus fog's write-up at least (a good alternative to the HID fogs).

Looks like we're going to comit to something... lets use this thread as a post, we'll take and copy/paste into a new web page.. when we're done, we can post a new link into the how to section. looks like "sixxone" wants to create all this, i'll get some how to's from other websites, and post them here.

lets get to it guys!!!

I've got some How-To's that I made using Microsoft Word for my own reference. I don't have a site to host them, but would you want me to email them to you so that people can download them? Let me know where to send 'em if you want 'em.

I am going to try and re-create each How-to and put it on the page. So we don't have the problem of the links going dead. Categories I was thinking were something like yours
exterior (retrofit, cleared blinkers, etc)
interior (Dead pedal, shift ****,etc)
regular maintenance (Oil change, sea foam, etc)
suspension (LTB, spring drops heights, etc)
performance? no to sure what to call this (Y Pipe install, intake, possible BBK)

Any thing else I should change or add?
regular maintance
suspension
performance?
misc

Newbie Power

Totally agree, I noticed and mentioned all the dead links as well.

Thought I had a contribution, but Irish already mentioned the Innerbean URL, lots of great To's.

Thanks for the thread and the efforts.

I've got some pretty good write-ups that i've found through-out this forum and on other sites. I've How-To's for spark plug replacement, PCV valve replacement, MAF replacement, and O2 location and replacement. Also have one on changing the color of the ignition light with step-by-step pics, a write-up on trim removal tips with illustrations, and one on fixing wind noise in the cab of your Max. Oh, and I also have a list of the SES error codes w/ descriptions. They're mainly for the 2000-2001 Max's. 1 or 2 may be from housecor's website, i'm not positive. I've just collected 'em from coming across 'em and copying 'em to Microsoft Word format. Anyway, my only problem is since they're in Word format, the most I could do is copy and paste the text for you guys. If anyone wants to host any of it or just wants to see 'em just let me know and I can email 'em to ya.
