If the 350z radio physically fits, that is good. It is not going to be plug & play because the wire harnesses in the 3rd gen Max changed with the 4th gen and probably again with the 5th gen. If you can get 2 adaptors (one to plug into the radio and one to plug ito the 3rd gen wireharness) and solder them together, it will probably work. I have a 4th gen radio in my car that way.

Metra Electronics Corp makes adaptors; their web site is www.metraonline.com. Look in the Turbowire Cable Systems. The metra part number for adaptor that plugs into the 3rd gen wire harness is 70-1763. I don't know about one for the Bose unit. Metra labels the wires on their adaptors, so it is easy to solder them together.

Edit

Ok, I went to the Metra web site and they claim the adaptor for the Bose radios is the same one from 1995 to 2002. They don't list anything newer than
2002. So I don't know if Nissan changed in 2003. If not, the 1995-2002 Bose radio adaptor is # 71-7550.

I bought my Metra adaptors from installer.com - the 2 adaptors and soldering and S&H makes it about $37. Installer.com doesn't have an 800 phone number, but their phone number is 713/626-7631, if you want to call them and ask about the wiring.
