i'm planning to install my new door sills and was wondering what would work the best to make sure it is perfectly clean so the adhesive will stick the best. also, my door panels are dirty down near the sill when my feet sometimes hit. how can this be cleaned the best. any advice?

i would use rubbing alcohol as a prep for adhesive. YOu may want to use something else like MCME first, but the rub. alc. should leave a nice clean surface.

 

some good old fashion denatured alcohol will be perfect.

 

k, thanks for the tips. i have some extra tape that i can put on there, so it should hold fine.
