Some pix of my self-detailed car

Washed with Blue Coral car wash, then clay barred the most problematic spots, next Meguiar's Scratch-X and finally Meguiar's NXT Gen Tech wax. It came out pretty well. In the process I removed my pinstripes and rear Nissanburger.

Looks very good. Until you drop it though, spray the wheel wells with Armor-All or Vinylex. That way they will look black and disguise the large gap.

TY very much, Prinz. I think the whole process may have been about 3.5 hours.

Blues, Good tip. Never thought of that to help hide my gap. I wish I had the money to do it right and drop it a bit, but the $$ are at a premium these days. Thx again for the tip.

Very nice job. I love a black polish that looks deep and wet, rather than just highly reflective like a mirror.

ty fellas....nothing like a clean black car. It is tough to keep clean, however. Every speck shows up. My father-in-law's silver '03 shows no dirt compared to mine.

Only bad part with black is you've only got a couple days to enjoy that immaculate shine!

I did the top 2/3 of the car. That has been the area that seems to need the most attention.

You know it. I wish I could seal the car in a giant zip lock Baggie when I finish cleaning it like this...lol.
