help with keyless entry remote

i need to know where to find the computer sensor for the keyless entry remote. I wrecked my 97 max and bought a new one without the remote. I could get the remote reprogrammed at nissan, but id much rather switch out the sensor considering that the remote for my new car is floating around somewhere.

<- your post makes me dizzy.

If I understood correctly, you have a new maxima and you think someone has a remote for it that still works with it... if thats the case, follow the instructions in the stickies to program a new remote to your new car - it will automatically clear out any other remotes that it has been programmed with.
