The peace that connects between the ypipe and the engine What is it called, id like to know becaouse mine looks all red and nasty. And where could i buy a stainless steel one.

maybe... its those two piceces that is a pipe that goes from the ypipe splits into three and into the engine

lol at that last post...sorry. anyways yup that'd be the headers, or exhaust manifolds. If you just replaced your Y-pipe then it might not be a very good idea to buy headers because most of them come with headers and a y-pipe combo. More than likely they'll be allright unless you just want them for the looks. check out redlinemax.com

yeah, those are your headers. why dont you try engine degreaser or cleaner first and see if that helps. as for stainless ones, im not exactly sure who carries them, but try checking the for sale forums. some of the companies that carry stainless y-pipes might also offer stainless headers.

well, i heard that headers are going to have 7-12 hp gain. but as far as changing the headers, i heard that its a pain in the *** to do yourself. you're prob gonna have to bring it to a shop because there's really no room in the engine bay and i heard that you have to swing the engine a bit to get to the back one or something like that??
