hey i am wondering if 370cc injectors w/ walbro and an fpr are enough to run 11psi on the stillen blower w/ a 75 shot of nitrous from a wet kit. JWT said that just the injectors are capable of 350hp and 370s w/ the z32 maf is capable of 410. the reason i am wondering is that the wet kit supplies its own fuel so the injectors should be enough right? or do i need the z32 maf too thanx

370cc@3bar are enough for ~261whp@80%DC(recommended) and ~326whp@100%DC(NOT recommended).

Z32 MAF is good for ~350whp, which is plenty for 11psi.

With the wet kit, the injectors and MAF doesn't matter, but your fuel pumps ability does. The Walbro will be fine.

alex, i have always wondered about the 3bar in the equation. first of all, i would like to say that I LOVE that you can always pull the figures out of your @ss in no time.

My question is what if you pump base fp like the sr20 guys do. what affect do you think it would have on the engine? Can you rescale the bump in emanage to be able to have more options than 3bar?

Just a simple equation off of RC's website...nothing magic.

3bar is just what industry typically uses to measure the flow rate of injectors, ie a standard yard stick, and happens to be what VQ30s run for stock fuel pressure at WOT. I just state that, so people know what fuel pressure I'm assuming/calculating from, since they can run higher or lower making their injectors flow more or less.

Yes, you can increase base fuel pressure to get more fuel through smaller injectors. As for the effect on the engine running a constant higher pressure? Just the possibility of cold start difficulty when the ECU dumps extra fuel for cold start enrichment, however Mardis' "S2000 pushstart button" seems to work around that. Also, running higher then OEM pressure means more stress on the fuel pump, seals, injectors, etc., however that's not much of a concern IMO. Probably, an increase in fuel temps too.
