(Lower Bumper Billet Grill),.... REPOST=BAN???

The last thread was closed because maybe i wasn't being clear on my questions. I was wondering if anyone who has a LOWER bumper billet grill installed could post pictures of your cars showing the LOWER grill (not the grill that replaces the tooth on top). I want to buy one, but just want to see it on a couple of cars before i make my decision. Also... for those of you who installed it yourselves, was there any cutting involved? was the install difficult? Thanks for your time.

yes, you weren't exactly clear... but the Sticky I gave you the link to has all the pics of mods including the thread above ^^^. the other thread you could also have easily found by doing a search just like Boone did. Simply looking through the Stickies and doing a search will get your answers a lot faster than Reposting threads asking.

Then you can post your question in the thread that already exists (if it's not already answered in that thread, which in this case it is). Then we won't have 10 threads on the Same topic, maybe only 9 since some can't figure it out.

Don't take this personally, well if you want to, fine, but it's not meant to be. Try to do a search once and see how many threads you have to sift through to find your answer and maybe it'll sink in.

I guess it's time to impose the Repost Ban again. I mean, I can't be the only one to notice the same threads about Shimmy, Struts, etc. recently. We make Stickies, even inform people that decide not to donate how to search anyway, and still laziness prevails.

"How much horsepower does my Max have?"

Overall things aren't bad, yet.... so I'm trying to maintain if not improve how the 6th Gen forum exists.

a little harsh jeff. Some things are redundant for sure, but it's a fairly large community, so those things are going to happen. I think overall this thing is run pretty D@mn good. I'm always interested in what people write even if it sucks...it's at least worth a laugh, no?

it's cool, like i said, nothing personal. most just don't know at first. I know i've been guilty before. i'm open to suggestions on how to help people help themselves. i try to only ban for reposts if it's blatant and recurring. if i simply close the thread, another one is made to ask why....

I suppose I can make a generic statement similar to above and paste it with every repost when I close it?

I want our forum to stay friendly and not have some members scared to ask questions. If you made an honest try, browsed the stickies, tried a search (via google if non-donataing), and at least skimmed the first 2 pages, then a repost is acceptable. But if I close it or merge it with the original thread I found, don't take it personal. It'll be personal if you're banned.

And we don't need and explanation and pre-apology in case it's a repost either.
