Bad sensor?

Bad sensor?

my speedometer is off by ~ 6 mph, and my tach is totally f*cked. could it be the vehicle speed sensor and the canshaft position sensor or gauges, cant chech codes cus the CEL is burnt out but i am getting a new one soon

Im sure it still stores the codes even if your CEL light is burnt out. Go to like an autozone or murrys or something and they can check it for free. And did you mess with anything on your car to maybe mess your speedometer/tech that bad?

stock 215 60 15, and the tach was off when i got it, same with speedo i guess
which means i did a lot of passing for no reason cus the people were already speeding

oh and i cant find a sticky on changing a CEL bulb, anyone know if it exists or on what page?
