is Tranny cooler supposed to feel "to hot to touch" at idle?
Guys - is your auto tranny cooler pretty darn hot when car is at idle?
Today I've installed B&M auto tranny cooler , everything went pretty smooth
once everything was assembled , I've started the engine to check for leaks
well , there was none , but once the engine got up to operating temperature
tranny cooler was pretty darn hot as well, I think this is normal , but i just need somebody to confirm that this is normal.
This is how I've hooked things up: I 've removed transmission return line (upper one , without bonjo fitting) , than ran inlet hose from B&M tranny cooler to inlet port on the radiator and, outlet line from B&M tranny cooler back to transmission return port.
thanks
Nick.
