I already know, that our stock bulbs are D2R bulbs, but I was wondering has anyone tried using D2S bulbs in their headlights? and hows the output of color and glare vs stock D2R bulbs...???

why would anyone going from the stock form???, maybe the color output might be better with the D2S bulbs, because they don't have that strip on the bulbs...

 

D2S bulbs will blind on-coming traffic....it will produce way more glare and you will most likely get pulled over if you pass a cop at night heading the opposite direction....stick with D2R bulbs, or do the projector retrofit....

yeah i pretty much know u'll get more glare, but if anyone has took on this project, just to see the outcome, pics would be nice to see...

 

i don't want to strip my stock bulbs, just in case the outcome is not so great...thanks for the advice though

 

I have been using D2S for about a year. No issues with Police at all

 

i knew someone would have a set of these on...

 

6000k D2S bulbs in my headlight and no problem with the police...yet
